Mark went to Millersville State College for Industrial Arts.  While at Millersville he set the school record in the pole vault jumping 15’ 6”, before putting the pole down for good to pursue a career in Industrial Engineering.

Mark now lives in Oriental, North Carolina with his wife Linda and four children: Shana, Carly, Chad, and Sam.  Mark is the Global Procurement Director for Attends Healthcare Products.  He also holds a captains license with the US Coast Guard which he uses as a part time fishing guide for his company Sweet Water Charters.

Mark continues his love of Track & Field by volunteering as a pole-vault coach for the Pamlico High School track team.  He has had 5 athletes place at the state level in the pole vault the last two years; which includes the 2011 State Champion.
